Branch Manager
The role of Branch Manager is a pivotal position within Zemen Bank. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the operations of the assigned banking center while driving the bank’s strategy and achieving financial targets.
The Branch Manager will manage the branch’s financial objectives, including deposit mobilization, credit facilitation, and foreign exchange generation. Additionally, the role involves expanding the customer base, promoting digital banking, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Creativity, innovation, and workforce empowerment are integral to the success of this position.
To qualify, candidates must hold a BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in banking is required, with at least three years as a Branch Manager. Experience in managing high-grade branches will be considered an advantage.
Deputy Banking Center Manager II
The Deputy Banking Center Manager II supports the Branch Manager in ensuring the effective operation of the banking center. This position is instrumental in achieving the bank’s strategic objectives and targets while overseeing daily activities such as deposit mobilization, credit processing, and retail banking services.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates must have at least five years of relevant experience, including two years as a Senior Officer/CSO III or one year in a supervisory role.
This position is open at the Nekemte and Bale-Robe branches, and applicants must demonstrate a strong ability to align operations with the bank’s policies and NBE directives.
Customer Service Officer III – Accounts
Zemen Bank is also hiring for the position of Customer Service Officer III – Accounts. This role involves managing customer relations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting the bank’s products and services. Key responsibilities include acquiring new customers, opening and maintaining accounts, handling cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service in compliance with bank policies.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of four years of relevant experience is required, with at least two years at the CSO I/II level or equivalent.
