Intern – Logistics and Admin Assistant

The Logistics and Admin Assistant internship at Welthungerhilfe provides a unique opportunity to develop your career while contributing to meaningful change. This position focuses on building knowledge and expertise in supply chain management, procurement, fleet management, and office administration. Working in a high-pressure, dynamic environment, interns will gain hands-on experience while supporting critical operational functions.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a BA/BSc degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Management. Strong skills in facility and office management are essential, as is a clean record free of fraud or misappropriation of resources. Interns must also demonstrate a willingness to adapt to challenging work environments and meet diverse demands with professionalism.

This internship offers invaluable exposure to international development operations and provides a foundation for future roles in logistics and administration.


Intern – Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)

The MEAL Intern position is an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about development work and data-driven decision-making. Through mentorship, coaching, and online training, WHH equips interns with the skills required to excel in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning.

Applicants must hold a BA/BSc degree in disciplines such as Rural Development, Development Economics, Statistics, or other related fields. While no prior work experience is required, candidates with a background in data encoding, organizational development, and documentation will have an advantage. Fluency in English and at least one local Ethiopian language is mandatory, with proficiency in additional languages being an asset.

MEAL interns are expected to demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills, adaptability, and creativity. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in project evaluation and organizational development while contributing to impactful community initiatives.
