Director of Marketing and Partnership Department

The Director of Marketing and Partnership Department will be tasked with planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating all marketing and partnership activities at VisionFund Microfinance Institution. This pivotal role involves formulating innovative strategies to enhance VF MFI’s visibility, attract new partners, and drive growth. The director will also monitor the effectiveness of partnerships, evaluate marketing initiatives, and ensure alignment with the organization’s long-term objectives.

Responsibilities include leading the evaluation of new business opportunities, designing targeted value offerings, and conducting market research to identify potential partners. The director will develop and oversee comprehensive marketing and promotional programs, ensuring the institution’s brand remains consistent and impactful across all platforms. Additionally, they will guide the development and implementation of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for new branches, product assessments, and pricing strategies.

This role also requires strong collaboration with internal departments to maintain a unified approach to marketing and partnerships. The director will lead efforts to improve customer and partner satisfaction, implement surveys, and provide actionable feedback for organizational improvement. They will also oversee media campaigns, write success stories of clients, and communicate the institution’s values and achievements to diverse stakeholders.


About You

To excel in this role, the candidate should possess an MB/MBA/BA degree in Marketing Management, Business Management, Economics, or related fields. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in microfinance or a related industry, is essential. The candidate must have proven expertise in crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, alongside advanced knowledge of marketing principles and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, analytical capabilities, and a creative approach to problem-solving. Strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and networking skills are critical for driving the institution’s marketing and partnership goals. Experience in market research, team building, and cost management will be highly valued.
