Role Overview: TSFP Registerer
The primary responsibility of the TSFP Registerer is to oversee the accurate registration of eligible beneficiaries at designated program sites. This includes verifying key information, such as age, gender, and anthropometric measurements, and ensuring compliance with program guidelines. By maintaining detailed records and collaborating with other team members, the Registerer ensures smooth operations and helps safeguard the integrity of the program.
Key tasks involve managing the flow of beneficiaries during distributions, supporting data compilation for reporting, and addressing any discrepancies or barriers in the registration process. This position also plays a critical role in outreach efforts, ensuring that eligible individuals from the community are informed and enrolled. The Registerer works closely with the TSFP Officer and other staff to align activities with Save the Children’s standards and protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

At least one year of experience in data entry, record-keeping, or administrative roles is required, ideally within humanitarian or development programs. Experience in nutrition or food assistance programs, particularly TSFP or similar interventions, is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in basic data management tools, such as MS Excel, and familiarity with nutrition program reporting systems are critical. Knowledge of malnutrition admission and discharge criteria, including measurements like MUAC and weight-for-height, is essential. Candidates should have excellent analytical skills, the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, and the capacity to identify and resolve registration discrepancies.
Fluency in English, Amharic, and the local language is mandatory, as this position involves direct interaction with community members and program teams.
