The company is currently seeking passionate and experienced professionals for two strategic roles: People and Culture Head/Chief Human Resources Director and Communication and PR Director. People and Culture Head/Chief Human Resources Director
This pivotal role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of workforce planning and development. The People and Culture Head will lead all aspects of human resources across Ovid Group, focusing on talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement. With a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, the Director will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with the company’s growth objectives.
The responsibilities of this role extend beyond traditional HR functions. You will be tasked with developing competitive compensation packages, implementing employee wellness programs, and ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor laws. Leveraging data analytics and HR technology, the Director will optimize processes and drive informed decision-making. Additionally, this role requires establishing robust diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, reflecting the company’s values of fairness and equality.
To qualify, applicants must hold a master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with over 14 years of progressive experience in HR leadership. A strong background in the construction or real estate industries is preferred, along with expertise in managing large teams and budgets. Fluency in English and Amharic is essential, as are strong analytical and communication skills.

Communication and PR Director
The Communication and PR Director will play a critical role in shaping and promoting Ovid Real Estate’s brand identity. Tasked with developing a comprehensive communication strategy, the Director will ensure that the company’s vision, achievements, and commitment to sustainability are effectively communicated to stakeholders. This role requires close collaboration with the media, internal teams, and external partners to build a consistent and impactful brand image.
Key responsibilities include managing media relations, handling crisis communication, and implementing digital marketing campaigns. The Director will oversee all communication channels to enhance brand visibility and maintain a positive reputation for the company. Internal communication is also a priority, with the aim of improving employee satisfaction and retention through transparent and engaging messaging.
Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, along with at least eight years of senior-level experience in communication and PR. A proven track record in managing large-scale projects, particularly in the construction or real estate industry, is highly desirable. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills are essential, as is fluency in both English and Amharic.
