Position 2: Senior Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Officer (Climate Change Project)
ERCS is also hiring a Senior Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Officer to play a critical role in the DCA-DRC Climate Change Project. This contract-based position, located in Addis Ababa, requires a Second or First Degree in Economics, Management, Statistics, or related fields, along with 6-8 years of experience in humanitarian and development projects.
In this role, you will collect and analyze information to develop M&E plans for the project, assist in needs assessments, and design reporting tools. You will work closely with implementing branches to ensure timely reporting and consolidate progress reports for stakeholders. Your expertise will also be critical in developing strategic, medium-term, and short-term plans, as well as addressing any contingencies that may arise during implementation.
Candidates with training in data visualization tools, project management, and mobile data collection systems are highly preferred. Fluency in English and Amharic is essential, while knowledge of other local languages is an added advantage.
