Metemamen Micro Finance Institution S.C (MMFI) has been dedicated to empowering underserved communities through responsible and accessible financial services since its inception in 2002. Established by the Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission (ESC/SADCO) in partnership with the Catholic Relief Service/Ethiopia (CRS), MMFI has made significant strides in addressing the financial needs of both urban and rural populations, with a strong focus on supporting women-led initiatives. With operations that began in Oromia and expanded across SNNP, Amhara, Sidama, and Addis Ababa, MMFI continues to play a pivotal role in fostering economic growth and development in Ethiopia.

Over the years, MMFI has established a robust network of thirty-one branches and two satellite offices, strategically positioned to meet the diverse needs of our clients. To support this mission, we are seeking a dedicated professional for the position of Branch Auditor I at our Huruta branch in Arsi, Oromia.

The Branch Auditor I will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while assisting in maintaining the organization’s compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. Job Requirements:

Applicants for the Branch Auditor I position must meet the following qualifications:

  • Qualification: A BA degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or related fields is required.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in financial auditing or accounting within a microfinance or financial institution setting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate complex financial records. This role requires someone who is meticulous, with a deep understanding of accounting practices and internal audit procedures, ensuring that MMFI continues to uphold its commitment to integrity and accountability.
