Procurement & Logistic Officer

This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with expertise in procurement and logistics. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain management, business management, accounting, or a related field, along with at least two years of direct experience in a similar role.

A strong command of spoken and written English is mandatory for this role, as it involves communication with international suppliers and partners. Candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with single window customs clearance systems is an added advantage.

The selected candidate will be responsible for researching potential vendors, collecting proforma invoices, evaluating supplier offers, preparing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Additionally, they will oversee stock levels, maintain procurement records, inspect received items, and ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies. Cost-conscious decision-making and adherence to procurement best practices are essential aspects of this role.

This position is based at Joytech Farm in Debre Zeit, near the new train station. The successful applicant will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and the management to ensure a smooth procurement process and efficient logistics operations.
