Team Assistant
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Team Assistant to support our operations in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Management, or Business Administration, with a University Degree considered an advantage. At least three years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within a large international or private sector organization, is required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in office applications such as MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, as well as WebEx. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines. Health Services Specialist, Field Health
The World Bank is seeking a Health Services Specialist with a Master’s degree and five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required, along with a valid and current Registered Nurse licensure or certification. The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical foundation in health services, with the ability to translate theory into practical applications in the context of the World Bank’s work.
This role requires proficiency in written, spoken, and clinical English, as well as the ability to participate in multi-disciplinary teams and take on 24-hour nurse call duty assignments. International travel may be required. Preferred qualifications include five or more years of experience as an in-house nurse for a large employer, demonstrated excellence in clinical judgment, and experience working with international organizations or multicultural populations. Proficiency in two or more languages is an added advantage.
