Programme Officer

As a Programme Officer at the British Embassy, you will manage and oversee critical programmes that align with the Embassy’s objectives. Your primary responsibilities will include programme and financial management, requiring you to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government entities and Civil Society Organisations. This position is based in Addis Ababa and offers a competitive monthly salary of USD 635.75.

Key Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you must be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities under limited supervision. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to deliver high-quality results under pressure. Applicants should have at least one year of proven experience in programme or financial management or a related field.
