Senior Attorney
The Senior Attorney plays a vital role in safeguarding the bank’s legal interests. This position requires a strong background in legal functions, with a focus on litigation and compliance. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, attending court cases, managing borrower files, and executing court judgments. The attorney also advises the bank on legal matters, conducts property auctions, and ensures all legal processes are carried out in accordance with Ethiopian law.
To excel in this role, applicants must have a degree in law or a related field and at least 5.5 years of experience in legal functions, preferably in the banking industry. The ability to conduct legal research, draft legal briefs, and handle court proceedings is essential. The Senior Attorney will be based in Addis Ababa, working closely with other departments to protect the bank’s interests and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Liaison Clerk
The Liaison Clerk is responsible for ensuring smooth communication and delivery of critical documents between the bank and external parties. A special skill required for this position is the ability to drive a motorcycle, as the job involves frequent travel for document delivery.
