Qualifications and Experience
To become a member of Emirates’ cabin crew, applicants must meet specific qualifications. A high school diploma (Grade 12) is the minimum requirement, coupled with fluency in English, both spoken and written. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service, demonstrating a positive attitude and a natural ability to work effectively in a team.
Physical attributes are also essential for the role, as cabin crew members need to be at least 160 cm tall and able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes. This ensures access to emergency equipment on all aircraft types. Additionally, visible tattoos are not allowed while wearing the Emirates uniform, and they cannot be covered with bandages or cosmetics.

The monthly pay includes a fixed basic salary of AED 4,430, flying pay of AED 63.75 per hour (based on an average of 80-100 flying hours per month), and overseas meal allowances. On average, cabin crew members earn a total monthly salary of AED 10,170, equivalent to approximately USD 2,770 or EUR 2,710.
