Project Coordinator – Jigjiga

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in implementing projects focused on Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Child Protection (CP), and Gender-Based Violence (GBV). This position is designed for individuals with a BA/BSc in SRH, Project Management, or related fields, and at least five years of experience in development and humanitarian settings. Candidates must have a proven track record of managing donor-funded projects with budgets exceeding €1 million.

In this role, you will oversee the execution of critical programs that aim to transform the lives of children and their communities. Your expertise in CP, GBV, and SRHR policies will guide the development and delivery of impactful initiatives. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of Somali or Amharic will be an added advantage. MERL Coordinator – Country Office

The MERL Coordinator position offers a chance to spearhead Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning processes within Plan International’s projects. Ideal candidates will have a university degree in Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology, or related fields, coupled with a minimum of five years of experience in MEAL. At least three years should involve senior-level responsibilities in advising or managing MEAL frameworks, preferably within the NGO sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for qualitative and quantitative data analysis, the use of digital data collection tools, and participatory facilitation methods. Your contributions will shape project outcomes and ensure adherence to international best practices. Fluency in English is required, and additional knowledge of Amharic is desirable. This contract-based position runs until March 31, 2024, and is stationed at the Country Office, offering a central role in driving Plan International’s mission forward.

Driver – Mekelle

Plan International also seeks a qualified Driver to support its operations in Mekelle. This role requires a diploma or certificate in auto mechanics, three years of professional experience in a similar position, and a valid third-grade (or higher) driver’s license. Candidates must have substantial experience driving throughout Ethiopia and a clean driving record for the past three years.

As a driver, you will provide essential support to Plan International’s fieldwork, ensuring the safe and timely transport of staff, goods, and equipment.
