Internship Program – IT

Job Overview

The IT Internship offers graduates the opportunity to immerse themselves in various aspects of IT system management. Interns will collaborate with a diverse team under the guidance of the Executive Director, Director of Programs, and knowledge management team leads.

Key Responsibilities

Interns in the IT program will assist with the deployment of new IT systems, data entry into resource center databases, and resolving basic ICT support issues. Additional responsibilities include online resource searches, updating existing database records, and collaborating with the resource center team on system upgrades. Interns will gain exposure to server management, system administration, and library management tools such as Koha and WordPress.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from a recognized institution. Only candidates who graduated within the last six months and are currently unemployed will be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and fluency in both Amharic and English are mandatory. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also required.

Internship Program – Health

The Health Internship is designed for graduates and postgraduates in health sciences and public health who wish to enhance their expertise in the field of primary health care.
