Women Protection and Empowerment Coordinator
This position, based in Addis Ababa, focuses on managing and advancing gender-based violence (GBV) and women empowerment programs. As a Women Protection and Empowerment Coordinator, you will oversee program implementation, develop strategies, and provide technical and budget management expertise. Working in both emergency and development settings, you will play a vital role in empowering women and supporting their protection.
To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in gender and development studies, social sciences, or a related field. At least six years of professional experience in managing GBV and women’s empowerment programs, including three years in emergency or development settings, is required. Applicants should possess strong communication, proposal writing, and program management skills. HR/Admin Officer
Located in Jijiga, the HR/Admin Officer will oversee critical human resource and administrative operations, ensuring efficient service delivery. This position requires a combination of managerial skills, organizational abilities, and communication expertise to manage staff effectively and support the overall goals of IRC.
Applicants must have a degree or diploma in human resource management, public administration, or a related field. The minimum required experience varies based on qualifications: five years for diploma holders, two years for degree holders, and one year for postgraduate degree holders. Experience working in NGOs is an added advantage.
Key competencies include strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based HR systems. Senior Grants Manager
The Senior Grants Manager role, based in Addis Ababa, focuses on managing large-scale projects funded by international donors, particularly ECHO-funded initiatives.
