Administrative Assistant 1 – Nekemt
The ICRC is looking for an Administrative Assistant who will play a vital role in supporting the Economic Security team. This position requires a university degree or equivalent in social sciences or a related field. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience in a similar role or secretarial position, with preference given to those who have worked with humanitarian organizations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth administrative operations, supporting field missions, and maintaining detailed records. Key responsibilities include managing supply requests, handling beneficiary feedback mechanisms, and assisting field staff with their working advances. This role demands a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to the principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant 1 will perform a range of tasks that contribute to the efficiency and success of the Economic Security team. These include, but are not limited to:
- Managing supply requests and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records and databases, including CDP and internal MSR.
- Completing all necessary paperwork for donation certificates and distribution tracking procedures.
- Assisting field staff in handling working advances and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
- Regularly updating internal and external statistics, including EPMT and 5Ws, and transmitting them as needed.
- Organizing and maintaining beneficiary feedback and complaint mechanisms.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Administrative Assistant may also be asked to support other departments and tasks as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications and Competencies
