Digital Banking Officer

As a Digital Banking Officer, you will drive Harbu’s digital transformation by supporting the development and management of online banking platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance customer experiences by delivering efficient digital financial solutions and promoting the company’s digital initiatives.

Candidates must possess an MSc or BSc in Information Technology or a related field, coupled with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Expertise in digital marketing, customer service, and financial services is preferred, along with in-depth knowledge of digital banking platforms and technologies. This role is based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Digital Banking Manager.


Office Secretary

Harbu MFI is seeking an Office Secretary to provide essential clerical support, including managing correspondence, organizing documents, and ensuring the efficient operation of office activities. This position is crucial for maintaining an organized and productive work environment.

Applicants should have a BA or Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management or a related field, along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. Based in Addis Ababa, the Office Secretary will report to the Manager, HRM, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the organization’s administrative operations.


Internal Auditor (Regional)

The Internal Auditor (Regional) is responsible for ensuring compliance with Harbu’s policies and procedures by conducting routine audits at regional offices and branches. This role involves verifying transactions, reviewing loan disbursements, and ensuring adherence to the institution’s financial guidelines.

Applicants must hold a BA degree in Accounting and have at least 4 years of experience, preferably in microfinance. The position is based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Internal Audit Manager.


Executive Assistant to the CEO

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will support the Chief Executive Officer in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating projects, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a highly organized and professional individual capable of multitasking effectively.

Key responsibilities include research, data analysis, drafting reports, and maintaining strong communication with clients, partners, and board members. The position reports directly to the CEO and is based in Addis Ababa.


Manager, Logistics, General Services & Administration

This role involves overseeing procurement, managing logistics, and ensuring the protection of the company’s assets. The Manager will also provide comprehensive support to all units within the organization, ensuring seamless operations.

Applicants should have an MA or BA in Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in a supervisory role. This position is based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Director, Human Resources and Administration.
