Value Chain and Business Development Expert
Job Summary
The Value Chain and Business Development Expert will play a critical role in strengthening local economic opportunities. By working closely with stakeholders, the expert will enhance value chains, promote financial inclusion for vulnerable populations, and design innovative financing mechanisms. This role also involves facilitating platforms for dialogue between communities and businesses to foster resilience and local economic development for refugees, IDPs, returnees, and host communities.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must possess a master’s degree in economics, business studies, or a related discipline, or demonstrate at least 10 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience in value chain development in Sub-Saharan Africa and three years of experience in financial inclusion for vulnerable populations, value chain analysis, and innovative financing mechanisms.

Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must hold a master’s degree in development studies, sociology, political science, migration studies, or a related field, or have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience. Experience working on mixed migration, socio-economic reintegration, and diaspora engagement is essential, along with the ability to produce context-specific analyses.

Living and Working Conditions
