Junior Software Developer Officer
EthioPost is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Software Developer Officer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our software applications. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles and the ability to write and debug code effectively.
The Junior Software Developer Officer will be responsible for writing and debugging code, troubleshooting software issues, and working closely with developers to improve product functionality. They will also participate in developing innovative solutions, attending developer meetings, participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities, and contributing to estimation discussions with the product team. Proficiency in C# and VB, ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, SQL Database, HTML, CSS, and Java Script, Responsive Web Design, and Web API or SOA Experience is essential. The ability to coordinate project management activities, resources, finance, and other information is also required.
Junior AMU Officer
EthioPost is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Junior AMU (Air Mobility Unit) Officer to support our air mobility operations. Candidates should possess a BA Degree with zero years of experience. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles, as well as the ability to develop and coordinate operational plans for air mobility.
The Junior AMU Officer will be responsible for developing and coordinating operational plans for air mobility for clients’ goods and parcels, including clients’ cargo transport and other airlift operations. They will ensure that all air mobility operations comply with aviation regulations, safety standards, and military protocols to maintain a high level of safety and readiness. Additionally, they will execute an air and land inventory plan, prepare inventory sheets accordingly, and monitor them for correction as necessary. They will also prepare an exchange list of air and land messages, considering speed, reliability, and cost, and ensure that it is implemented. Monitoring the proper handling of the canvases and investigating inquiries from various countries to ensure that they receive appropriate answers at the right time is also crucial.
DFS & NID Assistant
EthioPost is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented DFS & NID (Digital Financial Services & National Identification) Assistant to provide support for our digital financial services and national identification initiatives. Candidates should possess a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Economics, Management, Accounting, or related disciplines with zero years of experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide accurate information and guidance to customers.
The DFS & NID Assistant will be responsible for greeting and welcoming customers, assisting them with their service needs in a professional and friendly manner. They will provide accurate information and guidance to customers as needed and process their transactions accurately and efficiently. They will also promote and cross-sell products and services to customers based on their needs and goals. In addition, they will verify personal information, capture biometric data, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all ID documents. They will also provide guidance and support to National ID applicants throughout the registration process, addressing any concerns and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Providing cash-in and account opening services for customers to facilitate digital payments for the National ID Card Order Service and performing daily and accurate reconciliation of cash and e-float are also essential responsibilities. This position is located in Addis Ababa.
