Position 1: JUNIOR QUALITY AND SAFETY ASSURANCE OFFICER
This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained within Ethiopian Airlines’ catering services. As a Junior Quality and Safety Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing HACCP & GMP standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to upholding food safety are crucial for success in this role.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BSC degree in Food Science/Biology or any related field of study from a recognized college/university with a minimum of two years’ experience in food services/Food Quality Assurance/Cook capacity with HACCP & GMP standards.
- OR A Minimum of College Diploma/10+3/Level III Certificate per the old/new curriculum in Food preparation/Foreign Dish Cooking/Ethiopian Cultural Food Preparation/ Confectionery, Baking and Pastry Making/Hotel Operation or any related field of study from a recognized TVET/College/University with a Minimum of Four years relevant experience in food service/Food Quality Assurance/Cook capacity with HACCP & GMP standards.

Position 2: ASSISTANT COOK
This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the preparation of high-quality meals for Ethiopian Airlines’ passengers and crew. As an Assistant Cook, you will assist in the preparation of various dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and adhere to strict food safety protocols. Passion for cooking, teamwork skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service are essential for this role.

- A Minimum of Level II Certificate in Food Preparation/ Kitchen Operation / Foreign Dish Cooking/ Ethiopian Cultural Food Preparation or any related field of study from recognized Catering Institute/TVET/ College with a minimum of one-year related experience in a known organization.

Position 3: Industrial Electrician-II
This role is critical for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of Ethiopian Airlines’ electrical systems. As an Industrial Electrician-II, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, with a particular focus on medium voltage systems. Expertise in medium voltage line maintenance and handling specialized equipment safely and efficiently is essential.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of Level III/Diploma Certificate in Power Generation and System Installation and Maintenance, Electrical Electronics, Building Electrical Installation or related field of studies from a recognized TVET/ College /Institute.
- Experience and Certification: Applicants should possess a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in Medium Voltage line 15 KV maintenance, particularly in power generation environments.
- Additional Qualification: Applicants must have specialized expertise in medium voltage systems and be proficient in handling medium voltage equipment safely and efficiently.
- 2nd grade or Automotive driving License is Advantageous.
