Associate IT Support: A Vital Role in Driving Technological Excellence
The Associate IT Support position at ECX is tailored for candidates with a solid foundation in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. The ideal applicant will possess a Bachelor of Science degree along with at least two years of relevant experience in IT support. The role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the technological backbone of ECX by providing comprehensive support for IT infrastructure, diagnosing and repairing hardware issues, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the organization.
The responsibilities encompass installing and configuring hardware, software, and network systems, offering onsite user support, and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance for IT equipment. The position also involves training users on new technologies and applications, handling network security tasks, and managing incidents according to established service-level agreements. A proactive approach to problem-solving, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with other IT units and users, is essential for success in this role.
Candidates should demonstrate expertise in diagnosing hardware and software issues, maintaining Local and Wide Area Networks (LANs and WANs), and coordinating warranty repairs for equipment.
