Position Overview: Store Keeper
As a Store Keeper at Dafa Soap, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of our stock, ensuring that all materials and products are properly accounted for, organized, and readily available. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, from receiving and inspecting incoming goods to maintaining accurate inventory records and preparing items for distribution. The successful candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the integrity of our stock management system. This includes organizing, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing, labeling and maintaining a perpetual inventory of products and equipment. You will also maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stock.
Key Requirements
Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a college degree or higher in marketing, purchasing & supplies management, management, accounting, or a related field.
- Possess strong numerical skills, proficiency in both English and Amharic (including listening, speaking, and writing), with the ability to accurately translate between the two languages. This is crucial for effective communication and accurate record keeping.
- Reside in or live around Kebele 08, Sebeta. This is a mandatory requirement due to the location of our facility.
- Be obedient to the direction of superior leadership, demonstrating loyalty to the company. Must be hardworking, physically fit, and capable of working overtime when required.
- Be under 28 years of age.
- Be Female.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Store Keeper, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate quantity records of all finished and semi-finished products within the production department, ensuring the accuracy of the recorded quantities.
- Maintaining precise records of material quantities received by each department, guaranteeing the accuracy of the information recorded.
- Receiving purchased items based on purchase orders, verifying the number of received items, specifications, and models are consistent with the order, recording the data accurately, and assuming responsibility for the correctness of the recorded data.
- Managing the quantity specifications of products issued from the store, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
- Overseeing the cleanup and replacement of broken or damaged items in the warehouse, accurately recording the relevant data for inventory management purposes.
- Ensuring the safety and environmental safety of stored warehouse goods, making reasonable arrangements for the storage of the library, classifying goods, maintaining neat inventory storage, and arranging for the materials to move out of the warehouse based on a first-in-first-out principle.
- Contributing to the overall success of the company by accepting and completing other tasks assigned by the leadership team.
