East Africa Bottling Share Company (Coca-Cola Beverages Africa): Manufacturing Team Leader Opportunity (Deadline: March 20, 2025)
Role Overview: Leading Production Excellence
As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you will be a critical driver of production efficiency and quality within your designated area. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of production professionals, ensuring the execution of the production plan, adherence to quality standards, effective asset care, and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Coaching and Development: Coach team members in the proper execution of their operational and technical tasks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communication and Alignment: Effectively communicate work practice deployment plans and ensure team buy-in, aligning team goals with overall organizational objectives.
- Adherence to Standards: Ensure that team members understand and adhere to operational, quality, and process standards, work instructions, maintenance schedules, and performance targets.
- Autonomous Maintenance: Verify that team members perform required autonomous maintenance tasks and any necessary running repairs on shift according to work instructions and maintenance schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that the team members understand and consistently adhere to stringent quality standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Communicate team goals and regularly review performance to ensure team alignment and achievement of objectives.
- Problem Solving: Coach and support team members in using effective problem-solving techniques (such as 5Why, quick fix, OPL etc.) to address and resolve situational problems.
- Waste Management: Ensure that appropriate SIC mechanisms are in place to track and monitor waste, including mass balance analysis.
Required Skills, Experience & Education:
- First Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be an Ethiopian National.
