Senior Project Officer – Agriculture Production
This position is part of the Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA)/Ifaa project, which aims to enhance food security and reduce rural poverty in targeted PSNP communities in Oromia. The role involves providing coaching and monitoring support to implementing partner staff, ensuring effective project execution, and reporting on progress. With a focus on agriculture production and marketing, this role is critical in ensuring that the RFSA/Ifaa project delivers sustainable solutions to vulnerable households.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Production, or Rural Development, along with at least five years of relevant experience in agriculture production and marketing. Strong skills in participatory action planning, community engagement, and project monitoring are essential. Proficiency in both English and Afaan Oromo is mandatory, while knowledge of Amharic is an added advantage.
This role is based in Dire Dawa, with extensive field travel within East Hararghe required. The position offers a definite-term contract until September 30, 2026, with a salary grade of 8. You will report to the Technical Advisor II – Agriculture Production and Marketing and play a pivotal role in transforming the livelihoods of the communities CRS serves.

Senior Project Officer – Data Analytics and Visualization
This role is essential to CRS’s commitment to data-driven decision-making and program effectiveness. As part of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team, the Senior Project Officer for Data Analytics and Visualization will lead efforts in data analysis, manipulation, and visualization, ensuring actionable insights for stakeholders. The position also involves designing and implementing digitized M&E systems, creating advanced dashboards, and enhancing reporting capabilities.
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields, with at least five years of experience in data visualization and analysis. Expertise in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and statistical software like SPSS or STATA is essential. Additionally, proficiency in programming languages like Python and experience with data collection apps such as DHIS2, ODK, or Kobo are highly desirable.
This position is based in Addis Ababa, with approximately 35% travel required. It offers an indefinite-term contract and a salary grade of 8. The successful candidate will report to the Technical Advisor I – ICT4D and work closely with CRS teams and stakeholders to enhance program impact through innovative data solutions.
