The Junior Certification Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring that products and systems meet national and international conformity assessment standards. Job Responsibilities
As a Junior Certification Auditor, your primary responsibility will be to conduct non-complex evaluations for the certification of products and systems. You will prepare detailed audit reports and submit them for review and certification decisions, ensuring compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, and accreditation standards. Additionally, you will develop evaluation schedules and ensure their timely implementation, contributing to the efficiency of the certification process.
You will also assist in the design, documentation, and maintenance of operating systems, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with international standards such as ISO Guide 65 and ISO 17065. Collaboration with the Certification Department Manager and other team members will be essential as you review audit reports, participate in joint reviews, and recommend corrective actions for any deviations from accreditation standards. Furthermore, you will engage in activities that promote and market the department’s services, ensuring that the laboratory remains a trusted name in food testing and certification.
Qualifications and Competencies
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or a related field. While prior experience is not required, a strong understanding of product and systems certification, as well as conformity assessment standards, will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess analytical and investigative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of integrity.
