Clinical Nurse at BGI Ethiopia
BGI Ethiopia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare services to our employees. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for performing all clinical duties, offering overall health advice and evaluations, administering emergency medical treatment and medications, and implementing essential procedures and processes related to health safety standards within the company premises (clinic). Your commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment will directly contribute to the well-being of our valued employees.
The Clinical Nurse will play a vital role in supervising and monitoring day-to-day clinic operations, effectively addressing complaints from clients/patients and employees with empathy and professionalism. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate timekeeping and personnel records, ensuring compliance with established procedures. Furthermore, you will diligently follow up on the personal hygiene of employees working in food-related areas, such as production, staff canteen, and cleaning services, ensuring adherence to strict hygiene protocols. In addition to these responsibilities, you will facilitate general health checkup examinations according to the employee health annual schedule, meticulously ensuring that the clinic and working facilities are kept clean and sanitized to prevent the spread of disease. Proper disposal procedures for potentially hazardous materials, including needles and tubing, will be strictly followed, and you will ensure that all equipment meets required cleanliness standards. Confidentiality of patient information will be maintained at all times, and you will review and verify medical documents and invoices with meticulous attention to detail. You will follow up on hospital contracts to ensure they are up to date, and you will meticulously record and report accidents in consultation with the HSE officer. Reporting to the local government Health office as per regulations, while maintaining a copy in the clinic, is a critical aspect of ensuring compliance. Monitoring the proper storage of medicines and timely calibration of medical equipment is essential, and you will ensure that infection-control procedures, policies, and regulations are implemented appropriately. Additionally, you will refer company patients/employees to hospitals that have agreements with BGI Ethiopia, and participate in promoting the overall health and safety of employees.
Education: A minimum of TVET Level 3/Diploma or a bachelor’s degree in nursing/health officer, along with a professional license from the respective Drug Food and Medicine Authority, is required.

BGI Ethiopia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Planning Manager to lead and coordinate production planning and scheduling activities, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources and materials. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with various departments, including demand, RMP, brewing, packaging, and others, to balance production output with demand forecasts and optimize the use of resources. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to ensure our brewery’s products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and meet the highest quality standards.
As the Supply Planning Manager, you will create and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. You will collaborate closely with the brewing and packaging teams to ensure production plans and timelines are aligned with resource availability, proactively addressing any potential conflicts or bottlenecks. Adjusting production plans in response to changes in demand, production delays, or equipment availability will be crucial, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Monitoring production output and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or production delays will be a key responsibility.
Furthermore, you will work closely with packaging to plan for preventive maintenance, ensuring it doesn’t conflict with production schedules, and aligning production schedules with demand forecasts provided by the demand planner. Analyzing historical data, sales trends, and forecast accuracy to anticipate future production needs is essential, and you will work closely with the Raw Material Planner to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies. You will also be responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, downtime, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy.
Job Requirements:
Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in production planning, scheduling, advanced data analysis, and reporting. Attention to detail is paramount, with a relentless focus on execution. Experience with ERP and supply chain management systems, customer service, and planning is highly desirable.
