Awash Wine Sales Representative Position
Job Summary: As a Sales Representative at Awash Wine, you will be the primary point of contact between our company and our valued customers. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, including collecting orders, providing point-of-sale (POS) materials, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and ensuring product availability in all potential outlets within your assigned territory. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be instrumental in driving sales volume and building strong, lasting relationships with our clients.
Education:
- BA in Marketing, Business Management, or related fields.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- First Point of Contact: Serving as the initial contact person for the company, representing Awash Wine with professionalism and courtesy.
- Customer Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining sound customer relationships through regular communication and personalized service.
- Servicing Existing Customers: Actively servicing the existing customer base through a planned call schedule, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Query and Complaint Resolution: Efficiently resolving customer queries and complaints within the expected timeline, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Customer Understanding: Developing a thorough understanding of the customer base within your assigned area, including their preferences, needs, and market trends.
- Agent Sales Force Follow-Up: Daily follow-up with the Agent’s sales force, consistently reviewing delivery frequency per outlet to optimize efficiency.
- Product Availability: Ensuring product availability in all potential outlets within your assigned area, maximizing sales opportunities.
- Sales Volume Drive: Actively driving daily sales volume to achieve established targets, contributing to the overall success of the company.
- Objection Handling: Receiving and effectively handling objections from outlets, addressing their concerns and providing solutions.
- Reporting: Preparing and communicating all required reports accurately and in a timely manner, providing valuable insights to the management team.
- FIFO Adherence Advice: Advising on the adherence of the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock movement method at the outlet level, minimizing waste and ensuring product freshness.
- Agent Support: Supporting the Agent to increase sell-out performance, collaborating to achieve mutual success.
- Route Planning Assistance: Assisting in developing route plans, ensuring route and price adherence of Agents, optimizing efficiency and profitability.
- Outlet Visit Verification: Checking whether outlets are properly visited as per the route plan, ensuring consistent coverage and service.
- RRP Communication: Ensuring proper communication of Recommended Retail Prices (RRP) of the company products to outlets, maintaining price integrity and customer satisfaction.
