Security Investigator (Criminal Fraud Investigator)
The U.S. Embassy Addis Ababa is seeking a qualified Security Investigator to join its team in a role focused on criminal and fraud investigations. Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in fields such as Law, Law Enforcement, Security, International Relations, Politics, Criminal Justice, Forensics, or Police Science. The role requires at least five years of professional experience in a criminal or investigative capacity within a local government agency or in partnership with the U.S. government or other international entities. Relevant fields of experience include criminal justice, security, administrative investigations, or court processes, with a focus on operational techniques to identify, interrupt, or prevent criminal activities.
Selected candidates will undergo a background investigation and may need to complete a pre-employment medical examination. The position demands the ability to begin work within four weeks of receiving agency authorization and/or necessary clearances.
