Project Officer – Amhara Region
The Project Officer will play a pivotal role in planning, leading, and implementing livelihood support initiatives, natural resource management projects, and activities that promote social cohesion and trust among host communities and IDPs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) in Agriculture, Rural Development, NRM, or a related social science discipline.
Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience in livelihood, NRM, or peace-building projects. Strong communication skills in English, computer literacy, and the ability to document reports and good practices are essential. The duty station for this role is Efratana Gidim woreda, Ataye Town, located in the Amhara region. The position offers a competitive salary of Birr 10,017.
Finance & Admin Officer – Amhara Region
The Finance & Admin Officer will be responsible for supporting and managing the financial and administrative aspects of the organization. This includes accounting, personnel administration, logistics, and general services. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (BA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in finance and administration, with proficiency in Peachtree accounting software being highly desirable. The role demands strong organizational and technical skills to manage the organization’s financial resources effectively. The position is based in Efratana Gidim woreda, Ataye Town, with a monthly salary of Birr 10,017.
Program Area Manager – Amhara Region
The Program Area Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of projects, including planning, leading, and implementing development initiatives. This role also involves organizing and conducting trainings, workshops, and experience-sharing forums to ensure the success of the projects.
Candidates should possess a master’s degree (MA/MSc) or bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) in Rural Development, Sociology, Agricultural Economics, NRM, or a related discipline. The position requires 4–6 years of experience, particularly in managing development projects. Strong communication skills in English, proficiency in computer use, and the ability to document reports and best practices are vital. This role is based in Efratana Gidim woreda, Ataye Town, with a salary of Birr 17,890.
