Nib International Bank (Nib Bank) was founded on 26 May 1999 with license no. LBB/007/99. It was established in line with Ethiopia’s Commercial Code and the Banking Proclamation no. 84/1994. The bank started with a paid-up capital of 27.6 million birr and an authorized capital of 150 million birr, backed by 717 shareholders. It began operations on 28 October 1999 with 27 employees. Nib Bank was the sixth private bank licensed in Ethiopia to join the banking sector.
The bank offers both domestic and international banking services. It introduced Mobile and Internet Banking, allowing customers to access banking from anywhere. Nib Bank issues NIB cards and has installed ATMs at many locations across the country. These efforts make banking more convenient for customers. To stay competitive and modernize services, the bank partnered with MasterCard, VISA, and UnionPay to offer international card payment options. The bank has also completed upgrades to its T24 banking system, ensuring it runs on the latest technology.

Position 3: Associate HR Officer Educational Qualification: B.A. in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields. Work Experience & Skills: 3 years of relevant experience, including 2 years as a Junior HR Officer. Experience in organizational design is a plus. Position 4: Senior Attorney Educational Qualification: LLB Degree in Law. Work Experience & Skills: Six years of relevant experience, including two years as an attorney. Salary: Based on the bank’s pay scale with attractive benefits. Workplace: Head Office
Position 5: Branch Manager I Educational Qualification: B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related fields. Work Experience & Skills: Six years in banking, with at least two years as a Business Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Service Manager, or similar role.
