The organization is currently hiring a Supply Chain Officer to join its team in Addis Ababa.

Supply Chain Officer – Addis Ababa

The Supply Chain Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of procurement, supply chains, and facilities to support Humanity & Inclusion’s humanitarian initiatives. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about logistics and operational excellence, particularly in contexts that require agility and resourcefulness. The role involves working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including disability advocacy groups, government agencies, employers’ organizations, and civil society organizations.

Candidates will be responsible for managing procurement and facility operations while upholding the organization’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. The role also involves technical writing, team collaboration, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the supply chain processes, all of which are critical to Humanity & Inclusion’s success in Ethiopia.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Management, Business Administration, or related fields. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree are required to have at least four years of relevant experience, while those with a Master’s degree need a minimum of two years of experience. Previous work in procurement, supply chain management, or facility management within a humanitarian context is essential.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of teamwork and experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in English are critical for success in this role. Additionally, candidates must be skilled in using computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Previous experience working with international or non-governmental organizations (INGOs/NGOs) will be considered an advantage.
