Marketing Assistant

The position of Marketing Assistant offers a unique chance to support trade promotion activities between Korea and Ethiopia. This role involves conducting market research, facilitating business partnerships, and providing critical insights to help Korean and Ethiopian companies succeed in international markets. The Marketing Assistant will also assist in organizing trade-related events, analyzing market trends, and developing business strategies.

To qualify, candidates must hold a first degree from a recognized university in fields such as Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or Statistics. Fluency in English is required, and those with certified proof of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEIC) will have an advantage. Proficiency in Korean or French is highly desirable, as is experience in business development, market research, or international organizations. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are essential for this role.

The selected candidate will work at KOTRA’s office in the Bisrate Gabriel Area, Old Airport, Addis Ababa. Salary will be determined upon employment based on qualifications and experience.


Assistant

As an Assistant at KOTRA, you will play a supportive role in the agency’s daily operations, ensuring the smooth execution of its activities. Responsibilities include administrative support, assisting with market intelligence, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills who can adapt to a fast-paced international environment.

Applicants must hold a first degree from a recognized university, with preference given to those with majors in Social Sciences, Economics, Administration, or Foreign Languages. Fluency in English is mandatory, and candidates with certified English proficiency will stand out. Proficiency in French is preferred, while familiarity with computer programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must.

Previous experience in roles such as secretary, business consulting, or project management is advantageous. The successful applicant will also work from KOTRA’s office in the Bisrate Gabriel Area, Addis Ababa. Salary will be finalized upon employment.
