Junior Auditor
Nib Insurance is currently seeking a Junior Auditor to join its team at the Head Office in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate should possess a BA degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, or a related field. This is an entry-level position, and no prior work experience is required. The selected candidate will be part of the finance team, assisting with auditing and other financial activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.
Information Technology Support Officer
The Information Technology Support Officer role requires a BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. As part of the IT team, the successful candidate will provide technical support and assist with various IT operations. This is also an entry-level position, and no previous work experience is needed. The position is based at Nib Insurance’s Head Office in Addis Ababa.
Ethics, Risk, and Compliance Officer II
Nib Insurance is looking for an Ethics, Risk, and Compliance Officer II to join the team. Applicants should have a BA degree in Banking and Insurance, Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. This role requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar position. The successful candidate will help ensure that the company’s operations comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, working closely with internal teams to assess and manage risks.
Data Base and Web Page Administration Officer
If you have a BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least two years of experience as a Database and Web Page Administration Officer I, you may be a perfect fit for this position. The Data Base and Web Page Administration Officer will manage the company’s databases and websites, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of these crucial systems. This role is based in Addis Ababa at the Head Office.
Senior Salvage and Recovery Handling Officer
The Senior Salvage and Recovery Handling Officer position requires a BA degree in Banking and Insurance, Management, Accounting, Economics, or related fields, or a diploma in Automotive or Law. BA degree holders must have at least four years of relevant experience, including two years as an Underwriting/Claims Officer or in a similar role. For diploma holders, at least seven years of relevant experience, including four years in Salvage and Recovery, is required. The selected candidate will handle recovery and salvage operations, working closely with clients and internal teams to manage claims and insurance settlements.
Senior Information Technology System Administrator
Nib Insurance is also hiring a Senior Information Technology System Administrator with a BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. This position requires a minimum of six years of relevant experience. The Senior IT System Administrator will oversee the company’s IT systems, ensuring their stability, security, and performance. This role is vital for ensuring that the IT infrastructure supports the business’s operational needs.
Branch Manager I, II, and III
Nib Insurance is recruiting for multiple Branch Manager positions with varying levels of experience. Branch Manager I candidates must have a BA degree in Banking and Insurance, Management, Accounting and Finance, or related fields, along with at least five years of relevant experience. For Branch Manager II, candidates should have six years of experience, including one year in a Branch Manager I position. Branch Manager III candidates require seven years of experience, including one year in a Branch Manager II role. Branch Managers will oversee the operations of their respective branches, ensuring efficient service delivery and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Senior Claims Officer
The Senior Claims Officer position requires a BA degree in Banking and Insurance, Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related fields, along with at least four years of relevant experience, including two years as a Claims Officer II or Underwriting Officer II. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient handling of claims and customer service at the Head Office in Addis Ababa.
