Position 2: Drafts Person
The Drafts Person position at Ethiopian Engineering Corporation calls for a qualified individual with a BSc degree in Civil Engineering. Candidates must have at least two years of experience working on highway projects and be proficient in the use of Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist with drafting plans, schematics, and designs for road construction projects under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers. The Drafts Person will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings that will be used in the execution of the project.
Working as part of a team, the Drafts Person will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that all drawings and designs align with the project’s objectives and technical specifications. This position offers an opportunity to work on significant road infrastructure projects while gaining valuable experience in technical drafting and design. The selected candidate will be based at the project site, where they will contribute to the planning and construction of highways that are essential to Ethiopia’s continued growth and development.
Position 3: Secretary
The Secretary position is a vital administrative role within the Ethiopian Engineering Corporation, especially for those involved in highway projects. Applicants for this position must have a B.A./10+3 in Secretary Science or Office Management, with a minimum of four years of experience for a B.A. holder or six years for a 10+3 graduate. Experience in highway projects and familiarity with CADD software are essential qualifications for this role. The Secretary will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, including document management, meeting coordination, and communication between various departments and stakeholders involved in the project.
The successful candidate will work in Addis Ababa as well as at the project site, assisting with project-related administrative duties. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The Secretary will play a key role in ensuring that all documentation is well-organized, deadlines are met, and communication flows smoothly between team members and external parties.
