Role and Responsibilities
The position of Enumerator at IOM involves conducting surveys and assessments in various regions across Ethiopia, including Tigray, Somali, Oromia, Afar, and Benishangul Gumuz. This role is essential in gathering data that informs IOM’s programs aimed at addressing the unique needs of communities affected by natural disasters, conflicts, and migration-related challenges. The Enumerator will engage directly with local populations, ensuring the accuracy and sensitivity of information collected for decision-making purposes.
Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Statistics, Geography, Development Studies, or related fields. They must also have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience for degree holders and four years for diploma holders. Additionally, prior experience working with international organizations and familiarity with Camp Coordination and Camp Management settings will be advantageous.
