Role Overview: Senior Finance Officer
The Senior Finance Officer position at ATI offers an opportunity for highly skilled professionals to lead and manage key financial operations. This role focuses on ensuring robust financial management, overseeing budgeting processes, treasury management, and supporting organizational development through strategic financial oversight. The position demands a candidate with a solid understanding of financial systems, a commitment to integrity, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Planning: Managing and ensuring accurate budget formulations, adjustments, and monitoring to maintain organizational financial health.
- Treasury and Disbursement: Overseeing financial transactions, ensuring proper disbursement, and managing cash flow for smooth organizational operations.
- Financial Reporting and Audits: Leading year-end financial routines, preparing reports, and facilitating audits to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Receivables and Payroll Management: Supervising receivables, payroll, and related financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with local laws and organizational policies.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance, with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial management roles. Additional desired qualifications include proficiency in automated accounting systems like Agresso ERP or Oracle-IFMIS, and strong computer literacy in financial software. Fluency in English and Amharic is highly desirable, along with a commitment to ATI’s values of integrity, teamwork, and adaptability.
