Manufacturing Development Specialist
The Manufacturing Development Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices. This position is based in Addis Ababa and requires a first degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field, coupled with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating WCM initiatives. They will create WCM Master Plans and align resources with plant leaders to drive compliance with standards. Analyzing loss data, identifying improvement opportunities, and facilitating capability development programs are also integral parts of the role. Prior experience in process improvement projects or technical training will be advantageous.
Machine Specialist
The Machine Specialist role, based in Sebeta, focuses on operational support, maintenance, and problem-solving. Candidates must hold a first degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least three years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
This position involves overseeing planned and routine maintenance, performing running repairs, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently. The Machine Specialist will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of new product development (NPD) trials and adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. Training and development of operational teams will be a key focus.
Line Process Engineer
The Line Process Engineer position, also located in Sebeta, is ideal for professionals with a first degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
The role includes inspecting machinery, lubricating key components, and maintaining cleanliness within the work environment. The Line Process Engineer will ensure that machine components are tightened correctly, address faults, and comply with all relevant safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying unsafe conditions and implementing corrective actions.
