Ethiopia Digital ID Program Opportunities – Apply by January 6, 2025

The Ethiopia Digital ID for Inclusion and Services Project, a transformative initiative under the leadership of the Ethiopian Government and supported by the World Bank, is seeking qualified professionals for two vital positions. Launched in December 2023, this $350 million, five-year project aims to establish “Fayda,” a secure and inclusive digital foundational ID system, alongside other digital public infrastructures. The project, spanning from 2023 to 2029, is designed to improve access to essential services, drive economic opportunities, and strengthen national resilience, with a particular focus on serving the most vulnerable communities.

The initiative is implemented through the National ID Program in collaboration with the Civil Registration and Residency Service Agency (CRRSA). These organizations are working together to integrate cutting-edge technology, ensuring robust identity management and secure access to public and private sector services. The project offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Ethiopia’s most significant digital transformation efforts.
