ET Consultant – GFF Country Coordinator

The World Bank is currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional to serve as the ET Consultant – GFF Country Coordinator in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This position requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in health systems, resource mobilization, and stakeholder engagement. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Economics, Health Economics, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in RMNCAHN-G (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition) or health systems strengthening.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Ethiopian government in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Investment Case for GFF priorities. This involves facilitating transparent stakeholder engagement, tracking implementation progress, organizing analytical work, and ensuring alignment of resources with national health objectives. Additionally, the role includes monitoring expenditures, producing progress reports, and supporting the government in convening meetings to advance health financing initiatives.

The role requires proven leadership skills, a results-oriented approach, and strong organizational abilities. Effective communication, both written and verbal, in English and local languages, is essential for conveying project goals and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. Familiarity with GFF processes, World Bank operations, and IT tools for data analysis and visualization will be an asset.
