Section Head, IT Risk
Job Description
The Section Head, IT Risk, plays a critical role in safeguarding Zemen Bank’s information technology infrastructure and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. This position supports the Manager of Operational and Information Technology Risk by overseeing IT risk management procedures and maintaining a secure framework for the bank’s IT systems. The role requires strategic planning and execution to address potential risks, ensure adherence to IT security standards, and protect the bank’s assets and data from vulnerabilities.
The Section Head will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the change management process to ensure compliance and mitigate IT risks effectively. The individual will oversee IT risk assessments, develop robust risk management programs, and establish processes to ensure the integrity of information security across the organization. The role also involves conducting audits of compliance policies, liaising with internal and external auditors, and leading cyber incident response efforts.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations related to IT risk, developing policies to address security and privacy requirements, and collaborating with other teams to ensure IT controls are implemented effectively. The Section Head will also challenge risk assessments, escalate issues related to business continuity, and provide guidance on innovation projects, ensuring adherence to IT security standards in all initiatives.
Educational Requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in risk management are required to ensure the candidate has the necessary expertise in IT risk governance and compliance.
Experience
Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience in the field of IT risk management, with a minimum of two years at the senior officer level or one year in a supervisory role.
