Position 1: Operations Manager

Precision Development is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker who can streamline systems and processes to enhance the employee experience and drive organizational success. Collaborating closely with senior management and global leadership, the Operations Manager will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations as PxD expands its footprint in Ethiopia.

The responsibilities of this role include overseeing recruitment efforts, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor laws, and fostering a high-performance culture. The Operations Manager will also handle office operations, financial administration, procurement, logistics, and event planning while contributing to institutional knowledge management and internal learning initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with at least 5-7 years in operations management, HR, or related fields. A strong understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and prior experience in the international charity sector is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
