Position 1: Talent & Development Specialist
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Talent & Development Specialist at Coca Cola plays a critical role in shaping and implementing effective development strategies within the organization. This includes establishing career paths, competency frameworks, and designing curriculum that aligns with the business’s goals and vision. The role involves managing relationships with external educational institutions to foster partnerships that support professional growth and learning initiatives.
Additionally, the Talent & Development Specialist is responsible for evaluating and monitoring Learning and Development metrics, ensuring that the training materials and learning interventions are aligned with business performance goals. They collaborate on the ground to ensure that Capability and Advancement Processes (CAP) are effectively integrated, monitored, and assessed for gaps or opportunities.
This position requires a thorough understanding of Learning and Development practices, as well as the ability to support continuous improvement through evaluation and feedback on training effectiveness. The Specialist also ensures that systems and processes contribute to the overall success of business operations in Ethiopia.
Skills, Experience & Education
To be eligible for the Talent & Development Specialist role, candidates must hold a First Degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field of study, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Learning and Development processes, alongside a track record of managing relationships with external stakeholders.
As a requirement, applicants must be Ethiopian citizens, and the position is based in Addis Ababa.
Position 2: Management Accountant
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Management Accountant at Coca Cola is responsible for overseeing financial reporting and analysis, ensuring that the company’s financial processes operate efficiently and provide accurate insights into business performance. This includes managing month-end close processes, performing system verifications for Actuals, Budgets, and Reporting, as well as compiling financial reports for board and management review.
The role also requires coordinating budgeting schedules with relevant stakeholders, providing detailed commentary, and analyzing cost management strategies to support decision-making. The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy and contributing to strategic business initiatives through effective financial reporting and analysis.
Additionally, the position entails liaising with various teams to provide insights and recommendations for continuous financial improvements in alignment with Coca Cola’s broader financial objectives.
Skills, Experience & Education
Candidates must hold a First Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance, with at least 3 years of experience in accounting systems and financial reporting. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Cost and Management Accounting is required for this position.
