Junior Accountant
Woda Vehicle Manufacturing is currently seeking two highly motivated and skilled individuals for the position of Junior Accountant. This role is critical in maintaining the financial integrity of the company by managing daily accounting operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for recording daily cost transactions and calculating company expenses. The role includes preparing payroll and invoices while managing tasks related to withholding taxes, VAT, and other financial obligations. The successful candidate will prepare and present financial reports to both the Finance Manager and the General Manager.
This position also involves maintaining meticulous financial documentation, verifying petty cash payments, and reconciling monthly bank statements. Key tasks include generating monthly income tax schedules, preparing payment requests for check transactions, and submitting schedules for credit associations, pension contributions, and other deductions following payroll guidelines.
Additionally, the Junior Accountant will handle the preparation and submission of VAT and withholding tax schedules to the Tax Authority, ensuring all documentation is completed before deadlines to avoid penalties. The role demands adherence to financial policies and regulations while safeguarding the confidentiality of financial data. Regular reporting to the Finance Manager through the Head of General Accounts is also required.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Peachtree, ERP systems, and Excel is essential.
The role demands effective time management, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. Problem-solving abilities and a high degree of accuracy are critical. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Chinese is a distinct advantage. Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.
