Branch Manager – Mekelle
ZamZam Bank is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to fill the position of Branch Manager at its Mekelle branch. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced banking professional who is passionate about leading teams, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Applicants must hold a BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or any other business-related field. A minimum of five years of banking experience is required, with at least two years in a senior officer or customer service manager role within branch operations. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of branch management, team building, and core banking applications.
Strong leadership and communication skills are critical for this role, along with expertise in internal controls, sales and marketing, negotiation, and problem-solving. Additionally, familiarity with Interest-Free Banking (IFB) principles and knowledge of the local language will be considered advantageous. The Branch Manager will oversee all operations at the Mekelle branch, focusing on delivering excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with the bank’s standards.
