Position 1: Audit Analyst
– Finance and Operations & ICFR
Qualification:
B.A/ Sc in Accounting or any related discipline
A master’s degree in accounting or an MBA will be an added advantage
Professional Qualification:
Membership of the following professional bodies is an added advantage: Certified Institute of Auditors (CIA), Institute of Accountants Audit board of Ethiopia (IAANBE), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
Desired Experience and Competencies:
Minimum of 3 years’ Financial and Operational Audit work experience
Big 4, Global corporate or international work experience is a distinct advantage
Experience across multiple industries/markets e.g. Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities etcetera. International work experience is an added advantage.
Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, ICFR and other applicable accounting and regulatory standards.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Possession of the following certifications is an added advantage: Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA), International Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)
Desired Experience and Competencies:
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, 5 of which must be at senior management level.
Experience across multiple industries/markets e.g. Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities etcetera. International work experience is an added advantage
Must have an in-depth understanding of internal auditing standards, responsibilities, code of ethics, and internal control frameworks ( COSO, COBIT) etc.
Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ICFR and other applicable accounting and regulatory standards.

About You
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounting or other related discipline.
Eight years of relevant work experience in manufacturing company
Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Have ACCA or equivalent certificate
Good organisational skills.
Good data gathering, analysis and problem solving skills
High ethical standards and integrity.
Basic proficiency in the use of MS Office
